A Word from the President
For more than 40 years, OAMIC has stood next to Oklahoma attorneys through both good times and bad. I have had the honor of serving as President and CEO of this organization since 1993. The number one thing that sets OAMIC apart from other providers is our ability to cultivate unique relationships with our members. This comes from being a mutual company because our insureds are also owners. It also comes from being local. We know the Oklahoma legal landscape better than anyone else. And we know you. When you need us, we’re here. There’s no call center. There’s no automated answering service. It’s us. Oklahomans serving Oklahomans.
Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to serve you. We look forward to many more years together.

A Word from the President
Underwriting Department
On the OAMIC team since 2005, Isaac now serves as vice president, director of operations. He is a licensed insurance producer with two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Oklahoma. Prior to his time at OAMIC, Isaac was part of the engineering team that developed banking software for some of the largest banks in the United States.
Robin has worked for OAMIC since 1999. She serves as underwriting assistant, working specifically on policy issuance and endorsements. Robin received her bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma Christian University. Before she worked in underwriting, Robin had roles as both a receptionist and as part of the Finance Department.
Jill has been part of the OAMIC team since 1999. Serving as underwriting assistant, she provides customer service to both potential and current insureds alike. She also works with the Finance Department. When she’s not working, Jill enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.
Zindaba has been at OAMIC since 2017. With an MBA from the University of Central Oklahoma, she is responsible for analyzing the financial costs of risk. She has her Associate in General Insurance and is working toward an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society. Before coming to OAMIC, she worked in research for a university, in addition to being an actuarial assistant at another insurance company.
Claims Department
Alison has worked at OAMIC since 2008. She received her J.D. degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1985, where she was a member of Phi Delta Phi. She was a law clerk with the Oklahoma Supreme Court and the Court of Civil Appeals. Alison has also taught legal research and writing as well as appellate advocacy as an adjunct professor at Oklahoma City University. Before joining OAMIC, she worked at several law firms and served as a solo practitioner. Alison is a past-recipient of the OBA President’s Award, the Mona Salyer Lambird Spotlight Award and the Sovereignty Symposium Award.
Carolyn was in private practice for more than 10 years in the Oklahoma City area before joining the OAMIC team in 2019. She earned her undergraduate degree from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, and then went on to the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis where she earned her J.D. in 2008. Carolyn is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Oklahoma County Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in all Oklahoma trial and appellate courts as well as all federal districts within Oklahoma and the 10th Circuit. Outside of the office, Carolyn enjoys traveling with her family.
Amber has been at OAMIC since 2009 and currently serves as Claims Assistant. She has her bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma Christian University. In her current role, Amber is responsible for managing deductibles and assisting OAMIC’s in-house counsel.
Finance Department
Aaron joined OAMIC in 2020 with more than 11 years of accounting experience in oil and gas. He has a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University and is a certified public accountant. Prior to OAMIC, Aaron held various accounting positions at several energy companies.
Marketing Department
Laura joined OAMIC in 2020 with more than 10 years of experience in communications and marketing. Immediately prior to joining OAMIC, Laura worked for a statewide legal association, at which she gained an in-depth understanding of the needs of lawyers across the state and how to help address the challenges they face as they navigate their careers.
