What is LPL?

Lawyers Professional Liability Insurance is sometimes referred to as ‘Errors and Omissions Insurance’ or ‘Legal Malpractice Insurance’. The scope of coverage is for acts or omissions for legal services rendered, or which should have been rendered, by the insured lawyer or person for whom the insured is responsible. One of the keys is that the insured’s conduct must be as an attorney. Ancillary services may not be considered to be that of an attorney and may fall outside of coverage.
